Tips and Tricks: Shopping in New York for Theatre Fans

Whether you are trying to expand your Broadway collection or just want something to commemorate your trip to the Great White Way here are some places you can go to in NYC for Broadway souvenirs.

Drama Bookshop
Probably one of the most popular places for Theatre lovers, The Drama Bookshop has plays, scripts, cast albums & more. Located in the theatre district at 250 W 40th they regularly host workshops and signings. Check out their upcoming events on their website here

Theatre Circle
Located directly across from the Majestic Theatre at 268 W 44th, Theatre Circle has Broadway merchandise for current and past shows. They also sell scripts, plays, albums and more in the back. If you are looking for t-shirts, mugs, pins, posters or nearly anything else Broadway, Theatre Circle is a great place to stop.

One Shubert Alley
One Shubert Alley sells a plethora of Broadway memorabilia and collectibles. Situated right between the Booth and Shubert Theatres at 222 W 45th One Shubert Alley is at the heart of the Theatre District. It is a perfect place for theatre fans to pick up everything from t-shirts to keychains and everything in between. 

A Broadway Theatre
If you are fortunate enough to be able to go to see a show, don't forget to check out the merchandise! Usually, items in theatre can range in price from $10 to $80 depending on what you are looking for. If you don't make it to the merch at the theatre you can always go to the show site after and shop online!
